The call-to-action (CTA) is the most important part of any landing page. This is where a visitor converts (or doesn’t).
According to conversion pro, Michael Aagaard, crafting CTA copy is pretty simple:
“The more value and relevance you can convey via your call-to-action copy, the more conversions you are likely to get. It is, of course, important not to disappoint your potential clients by making outrageous claims you can’t support. So keep your copy relevant and focused on the benefit of clicking – but don’t over-exaggerate.”
A landing page’s CTA should always be action oriented (for both click-through and lead gen pages). Craft your own CTA by finishing this sentence:
“I want to ______________.” [Get the eBook; Watch the recording; Get free shipping]
