This part is pretty self-explanatory: the offer on your landing page explains what, exactly, is up for grabs and how visitors can get it (ie, the steps involved in claiming the offer).
The offer itself can be anything: product, service, content, or other. The actual offer should answer these three questions:
- What, exactly, is up for grabs?
- What steps are involved in getting it?
- What will happen next?
When describing your landing page’s offer, be sure the language you choose is descriptive and accurate. If visitors perceive your offer as being much better than what they actually get, you disappointing them which can lead to longer term trust issues. Stick to the facts and avoid overselling the offer.
